Our not-so-British readers may be befuddled by the term "strip" being used differently than in their home country. For reference, a "comic strip" in North America usually means a series of comic panels posted in a newspaper, usually in a horizontal row or vertical column, but here, "strip" means:
1. A series of comic stories under a specific brand (such as Decap Attack, Chaotix, Eternal Champions, etc.)
2. A full comic storyline. (such as Girl Trouble, The Syndicate, etc.)
3. In Sonic the Comic, a "strip" is also used to refer to non-comic features, such as the Data Strip, for the sake of formality. A much more literal Comic-Strip has also appeared in Sonic the Poster Mag 2005.
