One of the many new Badniks created by Commander Brutus and the only one of his Badniks to be officially named in Sonic the Comic. It appeared in Issue 79 in the one-shot Tails story, Grounded.
The Spider-Moth has large yellow moth-like wings and the eight legs and large thorax of a spider. The thorax contains a fire-bomb launcher and a web shooter to snare targets. It used this weapon to gum up Tails' tails and prevent him from flying. Tails managed to destroy the Spider-Moth by catapulting himself from a palm tree and colliding with it.
