Sonic Dash is a video game released for the iOS and, later, Android. The downloadable game is an endless runner that sees Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends race through Seaside Hill to collect Rings and destroy Badniks.
Characters
Several Sonic the Comic characters are playable in Dash, although only Sonic is initially available. Other heroes can be unlocked by completing certain conditions or investing extra money. All STC characters are presented in their original Sega guises:
- Sonic the Hedgehog
- Miles "Tails" Prower
- Knuckles the Echidna
- Amy Rose
The game also reintroduces classic Badniks - Crabmeat, Spikes and Chopper. Other STC-related appearances are made by objects such as springs and spike traps.
Reception
In Issue 261, Sonic Dash was featured in the Review Zone. Covered by L.T. Fletcher, the title was praised for being addictive easy to play but the slowdown, hazard placement and the runner's repetitive nature was noted. In a return to the Review Zone's classic format of awarding reviewed games a score, Dash earned 81% (80 for Graphics, 76 for Sound and 87 for its Playability).

The previous Sonic game was Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. The next is Sonic Lost World.
