Skull Rock is a tiny island in the seas of Mobius. Legends tell of a monstrous sea serpent named Krakiota who supposedly destroyed a hundred warships, devouring entire crews. The island itself was meant to look uncannily like a human skull but, in reality, is merely a normal rock with a few craters.
Captain Plunder sailed to Skull Rock to find Krakiota under orders from Queen Zorabel. After discovering the serpent to be a lot smaller than they imagined, the Sky Pirates pulled him on to the ship and questioned him. Simpson the Cat attempted to cook him for more information, before supposedly leaving him back on Skull Rock.
