The Seaside City Zone is a metropolitan Zone on the outskirts of the Seaside Hill Zone in Mobius.
Location
Nestled extremely close to the idyllic Seaside Hill Zone, Seaside City is a coastal Zone that enjoys a tropical climate. The architecture owes much to Mediterranean countries such as Portugal and Greece (as well as the continent of Apotos) , with its white buildings and cobbled roads. Like other tropical regions of Mobius, palm trees are abundant.
Traditional Mobian features exist only at the edge of town, as small islands connecting to Seaside Hill are adorned by the classic checkerboard pattern.
Seaside City Zone is connected to the Metropolis Zone by a busy highway. The distance between the two cities is considered negligible enough for a resident of the seaside settlement to order a pizza from Buddy's Bistro and have it delivered.
History
The Zone made its debut in Sonic the Comic Online when a citizen ordered a pizza from Buddy's Bistro. Big the Cat was tasked with delivering the food, but his scooter journey was eventful. Unable to read a map or ride a scooter, never mind doing both at the same time, Big caused a major traffic incident, although the resulting explosion catapulted him to the man who ordered the pizza. Unfortunately, the "pizza" didn't join him, landing in the nearby Seaside Hill Zone and destroying a squad of Badniks (as Big had accidentally brought along a bomb intended for Harvestman).
