No More Heroes is a complete Tails story that appeared in Issue 148 of Sonic the Comic.

Story
Tails regularly patrols villages such as Woodzone and is happy to report that there are no mad scientists or monsters in the area. The Woodzone Zone Leader is happy to hear it and, since Doctor Robotnik is no longer a threat, decides to pass a law banning all heroes from Woodzone with immediate effect. Tails is affronted and worries about safety, but the police force are capable of handling any future problems.
In the days that follow, things turn bad as villagers are frequently kidnapped but people can't take the law into their own hands and the police are inept. Even later, a hooded figure voluntarily walks into the trees, believing Woodzone to be the safest Zone on Mobius. A robot towers over him, saying it was the safest Zone. The robot leads the figure to a remote building, with the "village idiot" realising it to be a Badnik Processing Plant. When the Zone Leader in charge of operations questions the mystery man's knowledge, he reveals himself to be Tails and frees some of the prisoners. A punch from another Badnik sends Tails hurtling through the wall, showing to the assembled villagers that their Zone Leader is a villain. They set upon the Badniks whilst another robot accidentally shoots the equipment, destroying the Processing Plant.
As the police eventually arrive to arrest the walrus, Tails wonders how he got the equipment to make Badniks. From Metropolis City High Security Prison, Grimer laughs that he will eventually avenge Doctor Robotnik.
Trivia
- Woodzone and its residents make their only appearance.
- The Zone Leader wonders how his prisoners realises he's in a Badnik Processing Plant, despite an organic battery being lowered into a Badnik right in front of him.
- After Tails is punched out of the building, the villagers see him and rush to help. This is in the middle of the forest that others are scared to enter.
- Grimer is watching Tails, despite no obvious surveillance equipment in the area.
- Grimer also seems to have no real reason to produce a Badnik Processing Plant in a remote area.
