Story
On Flickies' Island, Doctor Robotnik orders Grimer to prepare a Badnik squadron for an attack on the Emerald Hill Zone. Rather than target Sonic the Hedgehog, however, Robotnik decides that Tekno the Canary has been an asset to Sonic's team for too long and targets her. In the Emerald Hill Zone, five Flyzippers appear in the sky, so Tekno shoos the Emerald Hill folk indoors. The Badniks completely ignore Amy Rose and relentlessly pursue Tekno. An offended Amy uses her crossbow to thin the Badnik numbers and Tekno uses the distraction to slip into her workshop. Quickly returning, Tekno prevents a device that produces multiple images of Tekno in the area! The Multi-Image Creator confuses the Flyzippers, causing them to shoot in all directions and begin to shoot each other. Exasperated, Robotnik orders them to stop and retrieve the device instead. Amy's life is put at risk, so Tekno hands over the image creator.
Back at Flickies' Island, Robotnik imagines the devastation and fear he could create by conjuring thousands of Badnik images. Grimer is less optimistic, particularly when he turns it on to reveal the device only creates copies of Tekno! Furious, Robotnik smashes the machine. Back in Emerald Hill, a wily Tekno celebrates another victory with Amy.
