Mad Ferret is a mad scientist from the Green Hill Zone. The well-dressed "evil nutcase" is a Doctor Robotnik supporter and longed for his return to leadership. To demoralise the citizens of Mobius, Ferret sabotaged a rocket on Bonfire Night and targeted it at the Statue of Freedom. The sight of the iconic landmark being destroyed caused the Green Hill citizens to lose hope, wondering if they'd soon be turned into Badniks. Although Ferret's plan initially succeeded, Tails gave the people a rousing speech that convinced them that they'd be just fine without the statue. Ferret was then arrested by the police.
