History chips are edible microchips grown in genetically modified potatoes in the year 5000 AD on Mobius. The more chips people eat, the more they learn about Mobian history. In the Issue 139 story Future Distractions, Amy pointed out an overweight owl eating the chips, stating he must be an "absolute genius".
