Frogs are amphibians that live on Planet Earth and Mobius. Similar in appearance to toads, frogs are often seen around ponds and lakes since they can survive in and out of water.
Several frog characters have had minor roles in Sonic the Comic:
- Princess Kupacious was turned into a frog by Doctor Robotnik. The Grand Vizier provided her with a magic necklace that transformed her after issuing Robotnik with a death sentence. In this form, Kupacious was able to steal a magic gem from Robotnik that allowed her to escape the Dimension Blender's rough effects. She then hooked up with frogs from Mobius and assumed control over them.
- The Emerald Hill Zone Leader is an elderly frog.
- Several frogs have been seen in as minor background characters, such as in Megatox, Happy Christmas Doctor Robotnik and Root of All Evil.
