Eyeclops is a character from the Kid Chameleon series and one of the many forms that Casey could take during his adventures through Wildside. The hero bears more than a passing resemblance to Cyclops from The X-Men, but instead holds a gun instead of blasting eye beams from his visor. This weapon is attached to a power pack on his back, but it isn't explicitly clear what this does.
Casey accidentally transformed into Eyeclops while dressed as Red Stealth, accidentally saying the word "chameleon" when trying to show Suzi who he was. The change was a fortuitous one as his infra-red vision could now allow him to see invisible sewer creatures coming towards them. Additional powers of night-sight, slow-mo and ultra-violet meant that Eyeclops could see things with bodies that reflect light at a wavelength the human eye cannot see. When the sewer men stole Suzi away, Eyeclops followed their footprints with his infra-red, but came unstuck when he reached a dead-end. The situation was rectified by turning into Micromax.
Eyeclops' head featured in the final panel of the first story, with Casey remembering what he had just done and resolving to defeat The Voice. He was also considered by the kid when he lost his chameleon powers, wondering how Eyeclops would react in a fight against a robot gorilla. However, Eyeclops was the only hero from the first story not shown in the recap during the second.
The Issue 1 preview features Eyeclops looking slightly different, with a clear visor rather than a red lens. This look deviates even further from his game appearance, being completely green.
