Doctor Roy Curien is a scientist and owner of the DBR Corporation in The House of the Dead. He was responsible for the creation of the first zombies and all the suffering in the years to come.
History
Whilst running DBR, Curien bought a mansion (later known as Curien Mansion) as a headquarters for his company. Sophie Rogan believes that the house reflected Curien's decaying, twisted nature. Perhaps mad or intoxicated with philosphical conceit, Curien began research into creating disposable soldiers that were cheaper and less controversial than human warriors. Unfortunately, as part of the Curien Mansion Incident, the zombies rebelled against their masters and was presumably killed by them.
Sophie Rogan was later quizzed by Agnes Reid of the Resurrection Men about Curien's state of mind. Secret documents were eventually unearthed that detailed experiments won on zombies and the first time they came to life.
