A Cybernik is a highly sophisticated cybernetic Badnik shell. Invented by Dr. Robotnik, the Cybernik differs significantly from standard Badniks. The armour is made of nigh-invulnerable Megatal alloy and highly impervious to damage. The armour's circuitry links directly into its organic battery's nervous system, bonding armour and host completely. The Cybernik shell is fitted with solar collectors to provide power, which is somehow converted into the necessary energy to keep the living subject alive. Cybernik shells also contain filter systems to support certain bodily functions.
