Claws is a polar bear criminal hailing from the Polarzone. After robbing a bank, he hid the money inside his duvet at home, the last place anyone would look since no one thought a polar bear would want to keep warm in the Winter, but he was caught soon after. After breaking out of prison, Claws retreated north, back to the Polarzone, where he could easily blend into the snow. Tails followed Claws and was almost drowned by the villainous polar bear, but was saved in the nick of time by his old friend Willie Waddle, just as Claws had made plans to use the money to pay for snowboarding lessons. The police soon arrived and Claws grudgingly went with them, prepared to go to prison if only to get away from Willie's terrible puns.
Presumably, he is still in prison.
