Chicio Marxio is one of the villanous Marxio Brothers and presumably the younger brother of Grouchio Marxio. Although depicted as being somewhat stupid and sometimes responsible for a plan failing, he gets far more abuse from Grouchio than he deserves, not being able to get his own office or even a salary.
History
Chicio's first seen action was to summon an enormous group of Troopers when Sonic the Hedgehog visited the Casino Night Zone. His muscle then enabled him to capture Porker Lewis and, in turn, convinced Sonic to surrender. Chicio continued to take charge by coming up with a plan to strap the Freedom Fighters to a rollercoaster and watch them get splattered; Grouchio took the glory when the idea seemed to be working, but berated Chicio when the plan fell apart and Sonic escaped.
The younger brother of Grouchio resumed his assistant role during their occupation of the Carnival Night Zone. The button-pusher called upon the Construction Robot to dispatch Knuckles the Echidna. He then precided over Knuckles' rollercoaster ride, unleashing many traps before coming up with the idea to send the echidna hurtling over the edge of the Floating Island. He would later resent Grouchio for not giving him an office or a TV despite Knuckles getting one after five minutes. Despite coming up with many ways to defeat Knuckles, the idiot eventually revealed that he still worked for Doctor Robotnik while riding the Marxio Kart, so had to switch to combat mode to fight off Knuckles. Although the plan failed again, Chicio showed initiative in summoning a Badnik patrol. Unfortunately, he was sent crashing down to the Emerald Hill Zone and returned to Super Marxio World with his brothers.
At some point, Chicio returned to Mobius to become the chief of plant safety for the entire Chemical Plant Zone. With his intentions unclear, Chicio had supposedly turned over a new leaf and led Sonic and Tails to a plant overload, actually caused by the return of Megatox.
Chicio returned in Sonic the Comic Online in the same role. As The Battle For Mobius swept across the planet, Chicio was ordered to climb into the Marxio Kart to fight off Robotnik's new Badnik army.
Personality
Chicio is a loyal brother and a shrewd businessman, but is slightly lacking in the brains department. Since brother Harpio Marxio appears to be mute, Chicio acts as second-in-command as well as the group's muscle. Despite hating what he is put through by Grouchio, Chicio continues to do everything that is asked of him for little to no reward. His speech is stereotypically Italian, punctuating his words with "-a" suffixes. He has also partaken in a little singing, saying there's "no place like the Carnival Night Zone", although Grouchio believes his rendition was "murder".
