Brother Barry is a member of the Doctor Robotnik Appreciation Tribe. The dog was part of the Channel Hoppers scheme, dressing himself as the blue Channel Hopper, "Wiggly". Despite his rough appearance, he appears to be the most intellectual member of the trio.
History
The Channel Hoppers were formed in an attempt to convince children that Doctor Ivo Robotnik was "wonderful" and they should oppose Sonic the Hedgehog. Brother Barry disguised himself as the blue Channel Hopper, seemingly engaging in an innocent children's show. However, between shows, Barry would be the one to set up the subliminal message that influenced the audience. An exasperated Barry was also forced to explain the plan to Brother Percy.
Tails eventually discovered the trick and confronted the Channel Hoppers. Brother Barry took control, informing Tails that they were about to go live and it would seem that Tails was bullying the innocent actors. After the show, Barry was surprised when their fans turned on them, calling the plan "foolproof". He was then shoved by Percy, revealing that he was a member of D.R.A.T.. The dog ordered his teammates to attack Tails, but all three were punched in the face by the hero. Defeated, Barry dragged his space hopper away from the scene of the crime in shame.
