The Blast Attack is a technique used by Sonic the Comic. Although it looks exactly like a Spin Attack, it was able to damage Citizen One enough into defusing the illusion of Perfection.
The attack comes from Sonic 3D, where grabbing a Gold Shield and jumping in midair will produce a homing attack. In Sonic the Comic, this technique only appeared once, shortly after Sonic 3D's release.
