Black pudding is a type of sausage made from cooking blood. In the United Kingdom, pig's blood is combined with oatmeal and is considered a delicacy in certain areas.
During their adventures through the Ring of Eternity, Amy Rose and Tekno the Canary offered to help the Spirits of the Years Past. 1930, an elderly ghost, had obtained a black pudding and hit 1999 over the head with it, allowing him to march on to the Time Stream.
