Vando wrap

Vando wraps were a type of wrap that partially shared its name with the dish grilled vando-fruit. Shortly before the Republic Fair on the Outer Rim planet Valo[1] in 231 BBY,[2] the wraps were served to visitors who had arrived early to tour the event's venue. The fair's coordinator, Samera Ra-oon, invited the Sullustan Senator Tia Toon to join Supreme Chancellor Lina Soh's group of guests for lunch, indicating they would welcome help consuming the available vando wraps.[1]

Behind the scenes

Vando wraps were mentioned in the 2021 novel The High Republic: The Rising Storm, written by Cavan Scott[1] for the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase I.[3]
