Vam Targes

Vam Targes was an Aqualish engineer who operated during the High Republic Era. He was famed as an engineer, but had a reputation as being a strict taskmaster. Targes designed the Innovator, a research vessel equipped with the latest scientific and medical technology, which was constructed by the insectoid Cyclorrians at the shipyards above the planet Cyclor. Targes was set to showcase the Innovator to the attendees of the Republic Fair on Valo. While on Valo, Targes died aboard the Innovator when it sank to the bottom of Lake Lonisa as a result of a Nihil attack on the Republic Fair.[2]
