- "Well, that was a good one, in any case. Found a new path between Pasaana and Urber. Should reduce travel time by a third, maybe more."
- ―Mari San Tekka
Urber was a location.[1] In 232 BBY,[2] the hyperspace prospector Mari San Tekka, who had been kidnapped by the family of Eye of the Nihil Marchion Ro and was made to locate unconventional hyperspace routes known as Paths for the Nihil marauder group, mapped a route between Urber and[1] the Expansion Region planet[3] Pasaana aboard Ro's flagship, the Gaze Electric, that she theorized would cut travel time by at least one third. San Tekka, believing she still worked as a prospector and that Ro sold her Paths to the Galactic Republic, informed the Eye of the route when he required her service. Although Ro did not need the route at that time, he stored it in his starship's central database and thanked San Tekka, claiming he would reach out to buyers.[1]
Behind the scenes
Urber was mentioned in the 2021 novel The High Republic: Light of the Jedi, written by Charles Soule[1] as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase I.[4]
