- "The fate of the Jedi rests in my hands."
- ―Tensu Run
Tensu Run was a human male Jedi Knight of the Jedi Order who survived Order 66. During the Imperial Era, he trained under the Jedi Elan, who convinced him to try and rebuild the Jedi Order. On this journey he would become a legend at the Conquest of Regis Kor, gaining the attention of the Sith Lord Darth Vader who was determined to have Run killed and sent the Inquisitorius to hunt him.[2] Run would face the Inquisitors several times, fighting the Fifth Brother,[3] Seventh Sister, and the Ninth Sister alongside two of his fellow Jedi Pan Delesec and Jed Uhron[4]. In the end however, Run became cornered on an unknown world and was killed by Vader after a battle with several members of the Inquisitorius.[1]
Biography
On the run
- "Your anxieties betray a deep desire, to meet the Empire's efforts with your own."
- ―Elan to Tensu Run

Tensu Run was a human male who joined the Jedi Order at a young age. Training under the Jedi, his life would drastically change after Order 66, putting him on the run from the newly formed Empire and their Inquisitorius. While on the run from the Empire he would train under fellow Jedi, Elan.[2]
Early in their relationship soon after Order 66, while on a forested world covered in snow, the two would make a camp site. At the camp, Elan warned Run that he was on a dangerous path "skewed by sentiments of the dark side". Elan worried that Run's need to fight the Empire would continue him further down that path, Run arguing that the Empire's slaughter of innocent people demanded that the Empire be opposed, with the remaining Jedi leading that cause. Elan responded by stating that the two are needed for a greater purpose and that Run could not through himself at the Empire, Run agreeing, settling the disagreement.[3]
The legend
- "The legend of Tensu Run was born at the Conquest of Regis Kor"
- ―The Grand Inquisitor

Sometime after this discussion, Elan and Run would meet with a group of Jedi on the Voyager Dawn, where Elan would receive medical care. Also sometime after the discussion, Run would take a Delta-7 Jedi starfighter to the planet of Regis Kor, where he would break into an Imperial outpost and free several prisoners. The event would later be called the Conquest of Regis Kor and Tensu Run would become a legend for it.[2]
The hunt for Tensu Run
- "I commanded you to bring the head of Tensu Run at my feet."
- ―Darth Vader to the Grand Inquisitor
After his Conquest of Regis Kor, Run would team up with two fellow Jedi survivors, Pan Delesec and Jed Uhron. The trio would rebel against the Empire and had hopes of reforming the Jedi Order. Run would journey to the planet Targyon, looking to build a refuge, and spoke with the native Diagu. Shortly after his visit, the same Diagu would be visited by the Inquisitorius, lead by The Grand Inquisitor, who asked about Run's whereabouts. One native claimed Run had left for the Fourth moon of Targyon, however a scan revealed that Run wasn't there. For their non-compliance, the Diagu were executed at the order of the Inquisitor.[2]

Run would later find his refuge on the planet Zayron, where he would speak with Delesec and Uhron. Delesec and Uhron expressed concerns that this refuge would really provide safety for the Jedi, however, Run believed that no matter the situation, the Jedi should remain optimistic in their trials against the Empire, believing the Empire to be temporary but that the Jedi would last forever. The group would continue to speak about their hopes of rebuilding the Order.[2]
After speaking with his companions, Run would get back in his Delta-7 Starfighter and fly to Voyager Dawn, speaking to his master Elan about his worries about becoming a symbol for the Jedi and rebellion against the Empire. Run tells Elan that he did not wish to become a symbol, rather he only wished to save those in need. Run did not believe himself worthy of the symbol, however, Elan tells Run that he is deserving of it, citing the fact that Elan taught him as to the reason why he believes such. Run would leave the Voyager Dawn, returning to Zayron, where he would sense the death of his master at the hands of the Grand Inquisitor, who had boarded the Dawn looking for Run shortly after Run had left. While sitting on a river bank grieving for his master, Run would speak to Delesec, stating that he now believes that the Jedi should be the one chasing the Inquisitors over the Inquistors chasing them.[2]
Taking the fight to the Inquisitors
- "We flee the Inquisitors no more. Now I go after them."
- ―Tensu Run to Pan Delesec

Tensu Run would go to the planet Gerrigon, where he would be spotted by security drones and bandits, gaining the attention of the Fifth Brother. Run would leave a communicator inside a ruin before leaving the planet. Afterward, Fifth Brother would arrive on the planet, looking for Run. There he would find the communicator Run left behind, where Run would tell the Fifth Brother that he would be arriving on Gerrigon shortly to face the inquisitor.[3]
Flying back to Gerrigon aboard his starfighter, Run would be attacked by the bounty hunter, Pii-lor, the same man who gave the Grand Inquisitor the location of the Voyager Dawn in hopes of finding Run aboard, and two fellow hunters. Run would quickly shoot down the other two hunters, causing Pii-lor to beg for mercy, which Run accepts, disabling Pii-lor's ship over destroying it.[3]
Arriving on Gerrigon, Run would find and land near the Fifth Brother, who after a few mutual threats, engaged each other in a duel. After trading some attacks, the Fifth Brother would deal a blow to Run's left shoulder, declaring the battle to soon be over. Run disagreed, quickly striking at the Fifth Brother's left hand, severing it from his arm. Defeated, the Fifth Brother asked Run to kill him, an offer Run rejected, stating that the Fifth Brother would stay alive to tell his master that Run still lived.[3]
On the defense again
- "Our lives are equal in value. We will share whatever risk exists equally."
- ―Tensu Run to Pan Delesec

On an unknown world, Run would discover a Jedi temple in an area called the Deadlands. Run would ask a man named Eorgus and his group of armed droids to seal him within the temple. Inside the temple, Run would talk with Delesec about rebuilding the Jedi Order here at the temple. The two would exit the temple, going to a nearby market where they would be attacked by a group of ID9 seeker droids that poured a toxic gas into the crowd, causing chaos among the group. Delesec recommended that the two return to the temple, sensing an attack, which Run declined, stating that the two needed to help those in the crowd instead.[4]
While using the force to attempt to pacify the mob of people, the two would be stopped by the originators of the gas attack, the Seventh Sister and the Ninth Sister. The four would begin to fight, with the battle ending with Delesec landing a blow to the Ninth Sister's left leg and Run slashing the side of the Seventh Sister's torso. Standing victorious above the kneeling Seventh Sister, Run declared that the Inquisitors had failed enough and expressed interest in meeting their master.[4]
Final stand
- "I will die at peace with all I have done, Sith Lord. Can you say the same?"
- ―Tensu Run to Darth Vader

Returning to the temple, Run would sit on a rock and look out across the horizon. When asked by Delesec on what he was thinking about, Run would respond by stating that he was tired of fighting. The two would be found by Uhron, who announced that the Inquisitors had returned. The three of them would take to the skies, flying each aboard their own starships to meet the invading Inquisitor forces above the astronomical object. A dogfight began between the Imperials and Jedi, which would end in Delesec being shot down and killed.[1]
Delesec's death would force Run and Uhron back down to the object, seeking refuge from the Inquisitors in the Jedi Temple. Shortly after and the Inquisitor forces, which included the Grand Inquisitor, Fifth Brother, Seventh Sister, and Ninth Brother, landed nearby and entered the temple. Inside the Inquisitors would be met with a small staff wielding droid army, which briefly slowed them down. The distraction however was not long enough for Run and Uhron to escape, and the two were forced to face down the Inquisitor force.[1]
The two briefly fought back the Inquisitors, when their master, Darth Vader, arrived to the battle to join them. As soon as he arrived, Fifth Brother impaled Uhron on his lightsaber, killing him. In response, Run asked why the Inquisitorius destroy, Vader responding by stating that they bring Order by ending the Jedi, who wish to suppress true power. While debating their views, Run would attempt to attack the Grand Inquisitor, but was pushed out of the room and into the next with a force push by Vader.[1]
While on his knees before Vader, the Sith Lord would tell Run that he would be forgotten. Run responds by stating that he will indeed be forgotten, but would die in peace with all he has done. While asking if Vader can say the same, the Sith would deliver the killing blow, severing Run's head as both it and his body fell down a cliff below.[1]
Personality and traits
- "Once he's committed to action, what can one do?"
- ―Pan Delesec speaking to Jed Uhron on Tensu Run
Tensu Run was a human male Jedi with short brown hair, brown eyes, and light skin.[2] Like most Jedi, Tensu Run was a very selfless individual who oftentimes put others before himself. When Pan Delesec recognized that the seeker droids gassing the marketplace crowd was likely an attack targeted towards the two Jedi, urging the two to return to the safety of their temple, Run refused, wanting to stay to help the crowd through the attack, knowing he was putting himself in danger to do so. [4]

His selfless nature made him a strong opponent to the Empire and their treatment of innocent lives. Being a man of action, he heavily desired to fight the Empire and help those in need, something that put him at odds with his master, Elan, who believed that the remaining Jedi served a greater end goal of restoring the Order rather than helping those now. When Run could not help those under the thumb of the Empire, it made him very angry, something that Elan feared could lead Run to the dark side had he not learned to quell his emotions, something Run vowed to work on.[3] Despite his profession as a warrior and his actions to save others leading himself to several battlefields, Run hoped that the Jedi could one day live in peace[2], however he recognized that due to contemporary events, the future for the Jedi was one of war.[1]
Run was also both very humble and had little to no ego, telling his friend Pan Delsec that although Run was considered a legend, he believed himself and Delesec's lives to have an equal worth.[4] With this, he also struggled with self doubt, feeling uncomfortable with the title of "legend". Run did not consider himself worthy of the title and a part of him felt as though he would prefer hiding from the galaxy then bearing the weight of what he considered a great honor.[2] Despite what that part of him felt, he would take on the role in full and fulfill his late master's wishes in attempting to rebuild the Jedi Order from scratch.[4]
While fighting against the Empire it was also clear that Run was not a man who often felt fear, purposefully chasing down the Fifth Brother in hopes of defeating them in combat, knowing that Fifth Brother and the other Inquisitors were both powerful and keen on killing him.[3] He would face down every Inquisitor he encountered, as well as the man who would later kill him, Darth Vader, valiantly. Even as four Inquisitors closed in on him during his final stand and he knew the end of his story was near, he accepted his end and chose to fight despite it, presenting as the same man even as his own demise stared him in the eyes. Skills and abilities

- "Do not underestimate your enemy."
- ―Darth Vader speaking to Fifth Brother on Tensu Run
Being a Force-sensitive individual, Tensu Run had the ability of telekinesis, which he would use to push the Seventh Sister into a wall.[1] Run was also exceptionally talented at lightsaber combat, defeating the Fifth Brother[3] and the Seventh Sister with ease using solely his lightsaber[4]. Along with lightsaber combat, Run was also a tremendous pilot, easily out flying both TIE Fighters[2] and bounty hunters alike.[1]

- "I saw Tensu Run docking a ship not too long ago."
- ―Pii-lor mentioning Tensu Run's Delta-7 Starfighter to the Grand Inquisitor
