Does anyone have any idea why he was promoted after bungling up in the eyes of Vader on multiple occasions? I keep re-reading the book but can't find any rational cause; it'd make a good inclusion for the article--67.7.92.6 16:13, November 30, 2014 (UTC)

The best I can tell is that he was impressed with him for his skill in taking control of that warehouse. And he didn't blame him for the Carrion Spike getting away because he recognized that those who had hijacked were formidable opponents. In Rebels?

Does anyone know if the stormtrooper with the white pauldron in the Siege of Lothal was Sergeant Crest? As according to Ultimate Star Wars, a white pauldron indicates the rank of "sergeant." Thus, since the trooper had a white pauldron, and was serving with Vader, is it possible that he's the same trooper? I know we can't assume, but if anyone has a source that identifies the trooper it would be much appreciated. Comm. Boots (talk) 17:26, June 22, 2015 (UTC)

Crest was promoted to Lieutenant later in Tarkin, so that's not him. That sergeant didn't have a clone voice either. Cevan (talk) 01:04, June 23, 2015 (UTC)

Crest would only be 36 Physically when Vader claims that he is "Too old" or "Aging to rapidly" I'd Say that 36 is still within the "Young" Category.
