- "May I introduce Admiral Durril of the ISD Judicator and the One Oh Third Task Force; Admiral Kinshara of the ISD Stalwart and the One Twenty-Fifth. Admiral Thrawn of the ISD Chimaera, recently assigned the Ninety-Sixth."
- ―Fleet Admiral Jok Donassius
The Stalwart was an Imperial-class Star Destroyer in service to the Imperial Navy during the reign of the Galactic Empire.[1] In 2 BBY,[2] the Star Destroyer served as the flagship of Admiral Kinshara's One Twenty-Fifth task force.[1]
At that time,[2] a group of insurgents of the Denash system came into conflict with the region's governor, Wistran, one of multiple instances of unrest across the entire Batonn sector. As part of an Imperial operation to quell rebellion in the sector, Imperial Fleet Admiral Jok Donassius assigned the One Twenty-Fifth to engage the Denash insurgents to prevent them from joining the larger rebel group on the planet Batonn. With little insurgent presence in the system, Admiral Kinshara won the battle with the One Twenty-Fifth, capturing a rebel base in the process. However, interrogation of their prisoners suggested that most of the insurgents' ships and materials had already been moved to Batonn, which Kinshara later reported to Donassius.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Stalwart was first mentioned in the 2017 novel Thrawn, the first book in Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Imperial Trilogy.[1]
