The Seeker Droid was a specialized droid designed by Galactic Solutions Industries during the Cold War and the Galactic War to dig underneath the surface of a planet and extract treasures buried there.
Behind the scenes
Subterranean seeker droids were introduced with the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion for the Star Wars: The Old Republic video game. The seeker droids are used during a level 55 chain of side quests involving the Seeds of Rage and can also be used to seek other treasures buried on various planets of the game.
