Saki system

The Saki system was a star system located in the Bootana Hutta region of Hutt Space. It contained the planet Sakiya.

History

The Sakiyans had very little interest in anything beyond their own star system and rarely ventured far from their homeworld of Sakiya.[3] They also showed little interest in traveling or trading with the galaxy at large.[5]

Thanks to its location on the edge of the Bootana Hutta, deep within Hutt Space,[3] the Saki system escaped the tyranny of the Galactic Empire, although many Sakiyan technicians were forced to relocate to Imperial research centers where they contributed to the development of a new generation of Imperial repulsortanks.[5]

The Saki system also escaped the notice of the Yuuzhan Vong as they pressed into Hutt Space.[5]
