- "Plan 88. The Seeker. We are being targeted. We are being targeted. I believe he is warning us."
- ―Tech informing the squad of Crosshair's transmission
Plan 88, also known as the Seeker, was a tactical code phrase used by Clone Force 99, signifying that they were being targeted.[1] Around 18 BBY,[2] after the Imperial clone commando Crosshair was arrested for treason and transferred to the Empire's secret Tantiss Base, he learned that the Empire was targeting his former squad, Clone Force 99, specifically the young clone Omega. After undergoing torture, Crosshair temporarily escaped and, accessing an Imperial communications terminal with a stolen access card, used his old code to send a message to his former squad, telling them Plan 88 and instructing them to hide. A short time later, after Clone Force 99 member Echo presented the squad with a data rod of information to decrypt, fellow squad member Tech learned that Crosshair had been imprisoned by the Empire. Checking the squad's old comms channel, Tech discovered Crosshair's message.[1]
