Phelbos was a celestial body surrounded by several rings[2] of asteroids,[3] located in the Bright Jewel system of the Mid Rim's Bright Jewel sector. Orbiting the star Bright Jewel, Phelbos was situated at the coordinates L-7[1] on the Standard Galactic Grid.[4] Vizsla Keep 09, a military installation constructed and utilized by the[2] Mandalorian terrorist group[5] Death Watch, was hidden in the rings of Phelbos during the Clone Wars.[2]
Behind the scenes

Phelbos was first mentioned in the StarWars.com Databank entry for Vizsla Keep 09, which went up[2] after the Keep appeared in[6] the third episode of the animated television series Star Wars Rebels' third season, "The Holocrons of Fate,"[7] which aired on October 1, 2016, on Disney XD.[8] While Phelbos itself has yet to be shown, its asteroid rings appeared in the third issue of the comic series Star Wars: Darth Maul—Son of Dathomir,[3] released on July 16, 2014,[9] as well as "The Holocrons of Fate."[6]

Notes and references
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 1.2 1.3 1.4 1.5 Darth Maul — Son of Dathomir 3 establishes that Vizsla Keep 09 is located in the same star system as Ord Mantell. Ultimate Star Wars, New Edition places Ord Mantell in the Bright Jewel system of the Mid Rim's Bright Jewel sector, orbiting the star Bright Jewel, while Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game places the planet at the coordinates L-7. As
Vizsla Keep 09 in the Databank (backup link) states that Vizsla Keep 09 is situated within the rings of Phelbos, the astronomical body must share Ord Mantell's location.
