Orkle was a human female who was the custodian of the Nexus, a floating city above the surface of the planet Quarmendy. When the outpost was taken over by Emir Wat Tambor of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Orkle evacuated her people, but was taken hostage by Tambor. When the Galactic Republic embarked on a mission to Quarmendy, Tambor set the Nexus to explode rather than let it get captured, and Orkle was rescued by Jedi General Plo Koon and Clone Commander CC-3636 "Wolffe."[1]
