Moore was a male Human who served as sub-officer in the Imperial Army until he was discharged during the Galactic Civil War.
Biography
- "The Empire found out that he was borrowing credits from Nym. He was going to be executed, but he has friends in the Tagge family. They put in a good word, and Moore was kicked out instead of killed."
- ―Jinkins, to a spacer
Moore joined the Imperial Army and eventually rose to the rank of sergeant. By the time of the Battle of Yavin, he was assigned to the planet Lok where he worked in the Imperial Mine.[1] During his stay on the barren outlaw world, he got involved with the Lok Revenants and the pirate Nym himself and borrowed several thousand credits from the pirate warlord. When the Empire found out about his deal with Nym he was to be executed. But Moore had friends in the powerful Tagge family who put in a good word, so Moore was merely evicted instead of killed.[2]
After he had to leave the Imperial Army, Moore spent most of his time in the cantina in Nym's Stronghold. Nym's pirates occasionally paid him for information about the Empire's local operations.[2] In 1 ABY,[3] a spacer sent by Jinkins of the Lok Revenants paid him 150 credits for Moore's insider knowledge about the Imperial mine and the droidekas that guarded the facility.[1] Soon after the spacer visited him again and paid him for information about the Imperial Research Facility.[4]

- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
