- "That's where we lost one of your colleagues, the Jedi Knight Te'Ami, and two brave pilots in a Longbeam—Marcus Augur and Beth Petters, correct?"
- ―Keven Tarr, to Avar Kriss
Marcus Augur was a pilot for the Galactic Republic during the High Republic Era. During the cleanup efforts of the Great Hyperspace Disaster's subsequent hyperspace debris Emergences[2] in 232 BBY,[1] Augur was on board a Longbeam cruiser with fellow pilot Beth Petters as they attempted to retrieve the flight recorder of the Legacy Run freighter during the 40th Emergence. The group was attacked by the Nihil marauders' cruiser, the Lourna Dee, as the pirate vessel attempted to destroy the flight recorder with a missile. However, Augur and Petters's Longbeam and Jedi Knight Te'Ami's Jedi Vector intercepted the missile shot, killing the trio. Afterward, the technician Keven Tarr and the Jedi Master Avar Kriss discussed the lives lost in the 40th Emergence attack.[2]
