- "Unfortunately for you, Lau has a very strict pet policy."
- ―Captain Mann, to Omega
Lau was an inhabited planet in the galaxy. After Omega and Crosshair fled Imperial facility on Wayland, they ended up on Lau before they managed to steal and ship and leave the planet.
Description
Lau was a largely desolate planet with a cold and windy climate[4] and a landscape featuring jagged cliffs and plains. During the Imperial Era, it maintained an Imperial presence, with TK stormtroopers patrolling the streets of the main settlement.[3]
History
Around 18 BBY,[6] the clones Omega and Crosshair crash-landed there while fleeing the Advanced Science Division on Wayland. A skirmish on Lau occurred after Imperial Captain Mann attempted to capture Omega and Crosshair, albeit unsuccessfully. The pair managed to steal a ship and leave the planet, eventually reuniting with their squad.[3]

- ↑ Per the reasoning here, Season 2 of Star Wars: The Bad Batch takes place around 18 BBY. The tally marks made by Omega in The Bad Batch Season 3's first episode, "Confined," indicate the episode must take place at least twenty-one standard days following her capture as depicted in the Season 2 episode "Plan 99." According to
"Confined" Trivia Guide | Star Wars The Bad Batch on StarWars.com (backup link), Omega spends about 164 further days in captivity by the end of "Confined." As such, the events of Season 3 must begin around 18 BBY.
