Konami

Konami, also known as Konami Digital Entertainment, is a Japanese developer and publisher of video games. It was founded on March 21, 1969.[1] It operates as a product distributor (which produces and distributes trading cards, anime, tokusatsu, slot machines and arcade cabinets), video game developer and publisher company. It also operates health and physical fitness clubs across Japan.

Konami is famous for popular video game series such as, Castlevania, Suikoden, Contra, Frogger, Gradius, Goemon, Metal Gear, TwinBee, Rocket Knight, Pop'n Music, Pro Evolution Soccer, Silent Hill and Yu-Gi-Oh! among others.

Konami also developed the video game Star Wars: Force Collection, published in September 2013. The game was discontinued on April 23, 2018.[2]
