- "Idaflor, that's where we'll go."
"But Idaflor's not even inhabited."
"Which makes it the perfect place to hide out." - ―Hunter and Wrecker
Idaflor was an astronomical object located in the Outer Rim[1] and Trailing Sectors regions.[2] It was situated in grid square O-18 of the Standard Galactic Grid and was connected by a hyperspace route to the celestial bodies Yar Togna[1] and Vohai.[4] By 19 BBY,[5] Idaflor was uninhabited.[3]
That year,[5] as the clones of Clone Force 99 were discussing what they should do after deserting from the Galactic Empire, an image of Idaflor was displayed on a computer screen in their starship, and[3] the group's leader,[6] Hunter, stated they would head there. After the clone Wrecker countered that Idaflor was not inhabited, Hunter noted that that made it an ideal location for them. However, they were unable to travel to Idaflor, as they did not have enough fuel and also needed supplies, forcing the group to instead head for[3] the Outer Rim[1] moon[6] Pantora. After leaving Pantora, the group ultimately traveled to[7] the Mid Rim[6] planet Ord Mantell.[7]
Behind the scenes
Idaflor first appeared on a screen in "Cornered,"[3] the fourth episode of the first season of the Disney+ animated television series Star Wars: The Bad Batch which aired on May 21, 2021.[8]
