Hallisara was a Rodian who was a member of the Path of the Open Hand cult.[1] In 382 BBY,[2] Hallisara was a child and lived with the Path of the Open Hand on the planet Dalna. That year, Jedi Padawan Kevmo Zink visited a stand ran by the Path where Hallisara and the rest of the cult's older littles were handing out flowers to passerby under the guardianship of Path member Marda Ro. Hallisara was competing with the other littles for the attention of a honey glider when he arrived. She attempted to reach for the Jedi's lightsaber, but had her hand pulled away by Ro. However, Zink allowed her to touch it, though warned her it was not a toy.[1]
After Zink left, Hallisara remarked that she thought the Jedi's lightsaber was incredible and very pretty. But Ro took her and the rest of the littles to the site where the Path was building their flagship, the Gaze Electric, and used it as an example of clarity and freedom which she then warned Hallisara and the others were traits the Jedi did not have. Then the honey glider flew onto Hallisara's knee, prompting the girl to thank the creature for its friendship.[1]
