Finger-spears, also known as whip-stings, were small, whip-like cephalopods used as weapons by members of the shaper caste of the Yuuzhan Vong. Barely thicker than straws, finger-spears were often implanted in shaper hands and quickly dispatched enemies when wielded as a weapon of choice, sometimes reaching up to four meters. Mezhan Kwaad and Nen Yim both had implanted finger-spears.
