An emitter duct was a shield generator component used on starships. When carrying out repairs on the shield generators of[1] the Fallon, a Trade Federation WD-2550 Whydah-class yield conveyer[2] in 132 BBY,[3] the meknek Fillik discovered that the ship's emitter duct was not connected to the field projector. on the ship's exterior. Verosha Aniseya, another meknek, then used the PIP droid Pip to begin welding; however this caused the pressure gauge to spike and led to a small explosion occuring on the ship's exterior nearby.[1]
