Dhow was a human who served as a senator in the Imperial Senate during the Imperial Era.[2] In 5 BBY,[3] Dhow advocated together with Chandrilan senator Mon Mothma in the Senate for the rights of the Ghormans who were being persecuted by the Galactic Empire..[2] Later Dhow attended a party hosted by Mon Mothma at the Chandrilan Embassy, where Dhow and senators Mothma, Vivyn, Teenar and the individual Slorda discussed the recently passed Public Order Resentencing Directive.[1]
Behind the scenes
Dhow was first mentioned in "The Eye," the sixth episode of the first season of the TV series Andor.[2] The character later appeared in the series' eighth episode "Narkina 5," which aired on October 26, 2022,[4] where they were portrayed by Hugh Sachs. Sachs' character was identified as Dhow by the episode's credits.[1]
