DK-3 was an R-series astromech droid in the service of a Gran trader on Pantora. The protocol droid CG-67 supervised DK-3 and the trader's other droids, fellow astromech 225 and the LE-series Clink. DK-3 and the other droids assisted in repairing the Marauder, the shuttle of the former clone trooper unit known as the Bad Batch.[1]

DK-3 appeared in "Cornered,"[1] the fourth episode of the series Star Wars: The Bad Batch, released on Disney+ on May 21, 2021.[2]
