DICE

EA Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment AB (commonly shortened as EA DICE or DICE) is a video game development company founded in 1992 and located in Stockholm, Sweden. The company is responsible for the creation of the first Star Wars Battlefront in the reboot series and the sequel Star Wars Battlefront II.

History

On June 10, 2013, EA announced that DICE would be the developers behind Star Wars Battlefront, a new game part of the Battlefront series started by Pandemic Studios[1]. The game released on November 17, 2015[2]. 6 downloadable content packs were released over the game's lifespan, those being:

  • Star Wars Battlefront: Battle of Jakku; released December 1 2015 (pre-orders), December 8 2015 (all players)[3]
  • Star Wars Battlefront: Outer Rim; released March 22, 2016 (season pass holders)[4], April 5, 2016 (all players).
  • Star Wars Battlefront: Bespin; released June 21, 2016
  • Star Wars Battlefront: Death Star; released September 20, 2016
  • Star Wars Battlefront: Rogue One: Scarif; released December 6, 2016
  • Star Wars Battlefront: Rogue One: X-wing VR Mission; released December, 2016[5].
