Cheketta was a male Human former Grand Marshal who served in the Republic Military. He was sent to Balmorra in order to guide the Balmorran resistance in their fight against the resurgent Sith Empire during the Cold War. He was a talented commander but in the end, he was still defeated by a powerful Imperial-aligned individual.

Behind the scenes

Cheketta is a NPC in the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic, acting as the main antagonist of the Imperial Balmorra story. He is voiced by Fred Tatasciore.

Gameplay alternatives

After the player defeats Cheketta, he offers to expose the Republic's involvement in the resistance in exchange for his comrades being spared. Sparing Cheketta grants light side points and Cheketta publicly confesses, leading to riots on Coruscant. Refusing Cheketta's deal grants dark side points and the option for the player to execute Cheketta. Afterwards, the Republic claims that Cheketta and his comrades had gone rogue.
