The Capitol,[4] or capitol building,[5] was the main government building in Lessu City, the capital city of Ryloth. Located in the Octagon district, it was the headquarters for the Ryloth Head Clan.[5] When the Separatists occupied Ryloth during the Clone Wars, Emir Wat Tambor used the building as his headquarters.[2]
Later, after the formation of the Galactic Empire, the building became the Empire's planetary headquarters. Opening on a large plaza where speeches from planetary leaders took place,[3] the Capitol also contained offices, detention cells, and a private hangar where Senator Orn Free Taa kept his personal shuttle.[1]
