The Canto Cup was a fathier race held in the city of Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica. One Canto Cup was held[1] in 3 ABY.[2] At least one race of the cup was sponsored by the Galactic Empire, who with the help of the Imperial Security Bureau rigged the race to ensure it's imperial representative, Vinis Karyvin, would win it.[1]
Behind the scenes
Canto Cup appeared in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and the Ubisoft. It is part of an optional activity that the player can bet on to win credits. The player can find intel on the rigged races allowing them to ensure they will win their bets.[1]
