Brian Wood (born January 29, 1972) is an American author who wrote the comic series Star Wars published by Dark Horse Comics. He also wrote the Free Comic Book Day one-shot Star Wars: The Assassination of Darth Vader.
Wood created several comic book series, such as Demo, Channel Zero, DMZ, Northlanders, and The Massive. He also worked as a staff designer for the video game developer Rockstar Games, but eventually quit his job in order to dedicate his time to comics.
