BD-72[4] was owned by Peli Motto on Tatooine during the New Republic Era. The droid assisted Din Djarin and Peli Motto with the construction of Din Djarin's N-1 starfighter.[2]
Equipment
The droid was equipped with various tools, including a spotlight and a holoprojector. He used both of these tools to aid in building Din Djarin's customized N-1 starfighter.[2]
Behind the scenes
The droid first appeared in "Chapter 5: Return of the Mandalorian," the fifth episode of the live-action television series The Book of Boba Fett.[2] It was first identified as BD-72 in The Mandalorian Experience exhibition in Celebration Anaheim in 2022.[4]
