The Adversary, also known as the Darkness, was a deity worshiped by the Ewok species.[1] He represented darkness and death and was the rival of the Golden One, though he was not evil, according to the shaman Logray, who believed that the Adversary simply had a role, being part of the natural cycle of death and rebirth.[2] According to Ewok mythology, the Adversary made a deal with the Golden One to share the moon Endor equally, a deal that Logray thought was broken during the Imperial invasion and occupation of Endor.[1]
