079 was the designation of the Z-95 Headhunter starfighter that was used by Mara Jade in the years following her service as an Emperor's Hand and during her time as a part of Talon Karrde's organization. Corran Horn used the ship for a time, most notably when he defended the Jedi Praxeum on Yavin 4 from a flight of two-headed creatures sent by the spirit of Exar Kun to kill Luke Skywalker.
