He and roughly 80 people were forced to evacuate Icarus Base during an attack against the base by three Lucian Alliance Ha'tak vessels. He ended up on the Destiny, an Ancient spaceship located several billion light years from Earth. (SGU: "Air, Part 1")
Later in 2009, he was part of the team that traveled to an unnamed planet to hunt for the Lucian Alliance member Simeon. He was paired with Lt. Vanessa James and Weber. He was knocked unconscious by an explosive device that Simeon detonated. (SGU: "Malice")
2010
He entered a stasis pod for the trip to the next galaxy. (SGU: "Gauntlet")
Alternate timelines
- In an alternate timeline, he chose to return to Earth, but like everyone else except for Colonel David Telford, didn't make it and was presumed dead. However, he ended up on a planet that he and other survivors called Novus, 2,000 years in the past. (SGU: "Twin Destinies", "Common Descent")
