Tass'an is a male Jaffa. He was formerly a servant of the Goa'uld Heru'ur.

He was one of the founders of a Free Jaffa Nation settlement on a planet called Sartorus. He witnessed the destruction of his city at the hands of a Prior with his own eyes. He remains in the opinion that "if a Prior visits your world, leave". (SG1: "Babylon")
