Ryche was a planet in the Milky Way and the homeworld of Martouf.
History
The Goa'uld had left Ryche alone for several generations prior to when it came into Ra's attention, which occurred when it had been part of territory given to him from Cronus.[1]
Due to Ra's intolerance for human literacy and in order to consolidate his rule, he prioritized destroying the temple archives on Ryche. It was brutally raided and the elder scholars were killed. Only one teacher, Martouf, was spared by the Horus Guard, so he could keep the students in line for the trip to a new planet.[1] (RPG: "Friends and Foes: Stargate Season Two")
